What do you think about me taking Ballet?
Okay, so I am a male 25 years old. I for some reason always found ballet intriguing to me. I know a lot of women do it and it's not so much a guy thing but I really want to do ballet. I don't want to become a great or anything but I just want to do it so I can learn some techniques and posture along with balance. What do girls think of guys that do ballet? Do I wear leotards and tights or tights and a shirt?
I think it is great. I am a classically trained ballet dancer and dance professionally. You don't need a leotard, but you should wear tights and a dance belt (so as not to hurt yourself.) A form fitting t-shirt would be worn with it. Of course ballet slippers (guys usually wear black or white) and white socks, unless you have footed tights.
