What do you wear to a funeral?
I know this sounds like a stupid question (please refrain from the usual sarcastic answers of clothes, black clothes or funeral clothes no its not helpful) but what do you wear to a funeral if your a teenager im 17 and have to attend my aunts funeral, I have not been to a funeral since I was 9 and then my mother dressed in a long white lace skivvy, hideous velvet dress with white lace frilled stockings and black clod hopper shoes with a black velvet headband. Now im 17 and have no clue as to what to wear, im in this awkward stage where im too old to be a kid but but young to be an adult. I do have good style usually but this stumps me. Help? I was thinking a black ballet flats with stockings a black cotton skirt a shirt (dont know what color yet) and a big baggy grandpa cardigan. What do you think? I dont think a formal would be appropriate for me but I dont want to look like an oversize kid either. Thanks,
well dont wear what ur mom dressed u in. wear a nice black dress with matching shoes. you will look good and it will still be ok for a funeral.
